Bert has worked in the quality field since 1979, with a depth of experience as a Quality Assurance Manager and a competent auditor. He has provided consulting, training, and auditing services for many companies and in various industries, such as automotive, aerospace, steel processing, stamping, healthcare, plastic injection molding, prototype fabrication, sheetmetal fabrication, testing laboratories, calibration services, machining, zinc die casting, biochemical, and electrical components and assemblies.

As an instructor for public and private industry, he has taught the following courses: Certified Mechanical Inspector Refresher, Certified Quality Technician Refresher, Certified Quality engineer, statistical Process Control, ISO, QS 9000, ISO IATF 16949 Internal Auditor Training courses, Automotive Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA). He is the coauthor of The Qualco Story with Malcolm Baldrige.
