Dr. John Bell joined the Protos team in 2010. He offers clinical and business consulting for CMS requirements of hospital participation and ISO 9001 quality management systems. Dr. Bell is currently a lead surveyor with DNV Healthcare for hospital accreditation in the United States and Europe. He is also a licensed physician in the state of North Carolina and Virginia, a diplomat of the American College of Anesthesiology, and a member the American Board of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Bell has practiced Anesthesiology and pain medicine for 24 years in both private and military settings. He has nine years of board experience (three years as Chairman) on the Henderson County Board of Health, and he has served 14 years on the governing board of directors at Pardee Memorial Hospital in Hendersonville, NC.
