Description

Overview of the concepts, for creating the design and process FMEA’s as well as discussing the scope for development of the failure modes. Emphasis on the interfaces and interactions of the components, systems and subsystems, how they are directly connected, and how they interact. General guidance is provided for the development and evaluation of the FMEA, based upon the latest edition available through AIAG.

  • Describe and quantify the severity of the effects of failures.
  • Ability to recognize potential failures of the products or process.
  • Recognize value of the completed FMEA and application to the product or process.
