Process FMEA & Control Plan Workshop

Process FMEA & Control Plan Workshop | Protos Solution

Our workshop includes an introduction to the Advanced Quality Planning Process. The course transitions into the PFMEA development as based upon the Process Flow Diagram. The PFMEA is taught from the AIAG manual. Following development of the PFMEA, the course includes an overview of the Control Plan development and includes case study activities to develop a Control Plan.

This course provides participants with an overview of the Advanced Quality Planning Process. The course continues with a high-level review of change points between the AIAG 4th Edition and AIAG/VDA 1 st Edition. The course continues with the AIAG/VDA FMEA manual review and concludes with case study activities to develop a PFMEA in the new AIAG/VDA format.

This course provides the foundation for understanding how to apply key quality tools to achieve solid problem solving. The materials will also provide directions on supporting the quality management system, improved customer satisfaction and continual improvement. Tools including Pareto, Flow Diagram, Scatter Plot, Run Chart, Histogram and others are included. This course is a great precursor to the 8D Problem Solving course. This course is designed around the Eight Disciplines of Problem Solving. The course is designed to walk participants through case studies that teach the application of each discipline. The core focus of the course is the review and application of causal analysis using tools such as the why-why, fish bone diagram and horizontal tree. Participants will also participate in the selection of corrective actions and learn best practices for communication of improvement.
