Our Story
The Protos Solution team has nearly four decades of experience in the automotive industry. Our experience includes OEM’s such as the Honda Motor Company, General Motors, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Tesla, Navistar, and Cummins to name a few. Although we enjoy working with all automotive OEM’s, the Honda Motor Company and their Supply Chain have been a central focus. Since 1987, our team has been committed to:
- Honda supplier training “HOST” course development
- Preferred trainer partner for the Honda Problem Solving and Basic Quality Tools
- Consulting Honda suppliers in the development of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 management systems
- Honda Supplier quality management system audits for ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 compliance
- Supplier management system training for ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
The Protos Solution team has retained a rich history for developing Honda suppliers. Our knowledge and experience of the past, present and future make us a great partner for quality system development, auditing, training, or problem resolution and improvement.
With the introduction of IATF 16949, our team has supported manufacturers with customers including General Motors, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Tesla, Navistar, Cummins, United Parcel Service, Volkswagen Group, ThyssenKrupp, Caterpillar, Cooper, TS Technologies, US Nifco, Groeneveld-BEKA, and Yusa Corporation. Many organizations have discovered that IATF 16949 is a challenging standard to achieve and maintain. Protos Solution will partner with your company to provide IATF gap assessments, system audits, consulting projects, or internal auditor training. Our services often extend beyond our customers and include supply chain development. These opportunities include MAQMSR consulting, second party audits and general supplier development. Our diversity and depth of knowledge makes Protos “The First Solution” to assist your team.
Of course, our experience is not limited to Honda or just the automotive industry. Working with standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 our team has gained experience with casting, extrusion, plastic and rubber molding, stamping, fabrication, machining, welding, textiles, electronics and software development, gaskets, printing and assembly processes.
Protos Solution has been a core leader for initiatives such as ISO 9001 in healthcare. Our experience and knowledge allow us to adapt to various sectors and create the perfect solution to meet your management system needs.
